como adicionar widget cpu na barra do awesome wm?

Bom,vasculhei a net atraz dessa possibilidade de adicionar widget de monitoração na barra de tarefas,achei muitas possibilidades,mas não consegui em nenhuma delas.não consigo entender como funciona a configuração do awesome,alguem poderia me ajudar ?

Seria interessante você ler como introdução a documentação do Awesome. Aconselho dar uma rápida lida nesse link: https://awesomewm.org/doc/manpages/awesome.1.html. A alteração que você pretende deverá ser feita no arquivo "rc.lua" e é preciso ter o "Vicious" que é um widget para inserir informações na barra do Awesome. Ele poderá ser baixado por esse link: https://github.com/Mic92/vicious. Qualquer dúvida poste aqui no fórum que tentarei respondê-la. Abraços!

Olá Canjica,

Obrigado pela atenção,então segui alguns tutoriais que encontrei,consegui abilitar o vicious,achei alguns códigos pra adicionar os widgets,ate ai beleza,mas quando coloco os códigos no rc.lua em todas as partes da erro,não sei onde exatamente colocar os codigos dos patches.

Obs; eu instalei o vicious pelo repositorio tem diferença ?

Estou seguindo esse método >> aqui

Overlock_sp, a linguagem Lua é bem rígida quanto a sua sintaxe, portanto, deve-se obedecer estritamente cada linha de código sem nenhum erro sequer. Acesse esse site que você terá certamente a sua dúvida esclarecida: "http://jasonmaur.com/awesome-wm-widgets-configuration/".

Então, percebi que você já acessou o site. Você está tendo problemas com a setagem das variáveis. Como falei anteriormente, a linguagem Lua é muito rígida quanto a sua sintaxe. Você tem que obedecer cegamente as exigências da linguagem. Certamente, você colocou alguma linha em uma região errada. Tente revisar o que você fez e responda aqui novamente.

Eu lembro que tive as mesmas dificuldades. E depois quando observei, era apenas uma questão de vírgula mal colocada ou espaço. Mais uma vez repito, a culpa não é sua, é da linguagem Lua que é bastante rigorosa!

Hum,então já testei em todos os lugares possíveis no rc.lua para colocar o código e em nenhum obtive sussesso,me mostre onde colocar por favor,meu rc.lua esta certo?

Puts usei o rc.lua pronto do rapaz do link e mesmo assim deu erro e não funcionou,desisto o problema sou eu mesmo,obrigado pela ajuda.
